1st responders arrive at scenes of disaster and put their lives at risk to help others and to protect property. But, the responders themselves are not protected by any systems or technology that provide them safety and life.

The 1st Responders Protect solution utilizes Active RFID tags embedded in 1st Responder uniforms and tags that are placed on vehicles and assets. RFID detectors provide real-time inventories of all people and items at fire stations, and know when people, vehicles and assets leave the fire stations. Mobile RFID communication systems are placed at the entrance area at incident scenes, and 'bread crumb' mobile RFID communication systems are placed stratigiically at the scene and within buildings. The RFID detection systems detect the location of vehicles, personnel and assets, and communicate to command centers up to 10 miles distance. A portable scanner finds 1st Responders under duress!
