Frandzel Robins Bloom & Csato practices in real estate transactions, corporate law, bankruptcy and business reorganizations, and litigation. The firm experiences volatility in new attorneys joining the firm. The result is a filing system aggregated with many different styles of indexing, labeling and color-coding. Further, the files are extremely active traveling In and Out of circulation and from person-to-person once in circulation. Frequently attorneys and professional staff could not access needed documents at the time needed for task fulfillment, court or customer service.

SmartTraxx RFID was implemented to print color-coded labels for 'expand' folders to client-matter through # and folder front labels for manila sub-folders and 14 RFID detection zones were placed along the two floors of Frandzel's operations. RFID tracks files onto and off-of elevators and wherever files travel along either floor. The database is updated real-time with file locations. A portable scanner is used to periodically inventory the exact locations of files 'to specific offices/people and work areas' and is the fail-safe for finding missing files when needed.
