Licensed to practice in state and federal court jurisdictions across the country, Walter & Haverfield's attorneys have successfully argued precedent-setting cases at all levels, up to and including the U.S. Supreme Court. The firm maintains approximately 40,000 file folder records with a client-matter, expand folder, manila folder hierarchy. The firm maintains a high-activity environment with processing time sensitive transactions, and did not have a records management or file tracking system.

SmartTraxx was implemented and integrated with the firm's host Case Management System (Elite) to populate the database with active records and to import new client-matters on a nightly basis. Redweld and manila folder records are added by keyboard as 'children' to the client-matter records. The system prints RFID labels for redweld folder fronts and for manila folder fronts. Portable RFID scanners are utilized daily to inventory files circulating the firm, so that the database always knows current file locations. The portable is also utilized to find needed files, right when needed!
